Water well construction
in water company of Athens (EYDAP SA)
The aim of the project was to increase the total capacity of the
water pumping station of MAVROSOUVALA EYDAP from 4200 m3/h to 5400 m3/h,
by drilling four new deep water wells in the area.

Seismic Refraction Survey for dam construction
At the future dam site of MIRTOFITO in northern Greece, it was
estimated from the result of the preliminary geological survey and
borehole data that the granite basement at the dam axis location had
subsurface fractures and faults. These fractures had no evidence at the
ground surface so the fracture zones had to be determined in order to
plan the grouting of the dam foundation.

Geotechnical
well logging measurements at Salonique subway
During the preliminary study
concerning the construction of the Salonique subway 64 geotechnical
boreholes have been constructed. A geotechnical well logging survey has
been carried out to localize with accuracy the layers’ interfaces and to
measure the shale content of each layer in the lithology column.
