geophysical services to the mining, tunnelling, geotechnical and
construction sector in Greece. The company applies its expertise in
the non-destructive exploration technologies to provide guidance for
exploratory drilling programs, contaminants mapping, groundwater

Geoservice is structured on a
regional basis, with offices in the two major cities of Greece
(Athens and Thessaloniki) in order to be as close as possible to its
markets.
Optimal Well Design
Services include geophysical logs that
are run to acquire data about the formation penetrated by a well,
fluid in the well or a physical characteristic of the well. One
complete modern well logging station mounted in a truck with 900 m
depth capabilities is used.

Environmental monitoring
The field involves using state-of-the-art
technology to "image" the subsurface remotely. Detailed
characterization of the shallow subsurface is important in
environmental, groundwater and other applications. Services include
the application of 2D electrical resistivity tomography method (ERT)
for the detection and mapping of contaminant plumes, landfills
leakage and other.

Geotechnical Engineering
GEOSERVICE provides a broad range of
geophysical services to support geotechnical engineering
constructions including: Cavities detection, subsoil layers
delineation, utilities detection and mapping, pavement (asphalt)
evaluation and landslide studies. The Ground Penetrating Radar
method is used for these purposes, providing one subsurface image in
a minimum time and with a significant resolution.

geotechnical investigation. Geologic investigations typically
include evaluating the engineering characteristics of the rock to be
excavated; rock mass characteristics (weathering, strength, joint
density, joint attitudes), the presence and effect of perched
groundwater, existing landslides and the construction of rock fills.
